As an artist I’m passionate about the endless possibilities to channel creativity into crafts. Not limiting myself but being open to learning new things, stepping out of my comfort zone and enjoying the process are my rules when creating. This is the reason why you can expect lots of different new projects and even different styles, making it difficult to enclose PiQuail merchandise under the same label. The only labels our products have in common is ‘sustainable’ and ‘eco-friendly’, due to my other side as a scientist.

As a biologist, my goal is to give people who are conscious of and care about topics like climate change, sustainability and environmental protection, the chance to buy from a shop that shares and respects their worries, while creating projects that bring together a community that contributes to environmental recovery. P.S. I almost forgot to tell you how our name came about. A long time ago, during a visit to a zoo, a cute little valley quail followed me all around. It was so adorable that I have never forgotten this funny experience. The image of this little friend has stayed with me and I thought it would be perfect as the face of my enterprise, as it makes me smile every time I see it. Pi, the quail, is my lucky charm!
